Amazing Dishes and Drinks That Would Help You Cure Your Hangover

Now that we are finally done celebrating the New Year and New Year Eve, its time we got back to work and our daily chores. We tell you about some of the most amazing dishes and drinks you would love to have today to cure yourself from the much needed party hangover.

PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE PROTIEN SHAKE 

Peanut Butter Chocolate

This easy to make delicious drink is a simple blend of milk, chocolate,  peanut butter powder and some old fashioned oats.
Ingredients used

- 1/1/2 cups milk
- 2 scoops chocolate protein powder
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter powder
- 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
- 4 ice cubes

Steps 

- Gather all the ingredients
- Combine all the ingredients and blend until it gives you a smooth texture
- Serve with a smoothie straw for easier drinking


GINGER TEA 

Ginger tea recipe

A warm cup of ginger tea is all you need for an instant energy boost and to cure your hangover.

Ingredients used 

- 2 tablespoons of ginger 
- 1-2 cups of water
- 1-2 tablespoon of honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

Steps

- Gather the ingredients
- Prepare the fresh ginger juice by peeling it and slicing it thinly to maximise the surface area, thus helping you make a flavourful ginger tea.
- Boil the ginger in water for close to 10 minutes. The more you boil, stronger the taste
- Remove the heat and add the lime juice and honey to taste and enjoy your green tea.

SUPER FOOD BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE 

Healthy green smoothies

The mix of all good stuff helps you restore your health and can easily become a feel-good recipe.

Ingredients used 

- 1 cup almond milk
- Half cup fresh spinach
- 1 Small Frozen Banana
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 ice-cubes
- tiny pinch of salt

Steps 

- Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend so that there are no chunks
- Serve as is or sprinkle with toasted coconut, bee polen, hemp seeds or grain free granola

CURD RICE 

Curd rice tadka

Curd Rice happens to be a stand-alone remedy for any kind of hangover. It provides a nice cushion to your stomach. 

Ingredients used

- Rice
- Curd
- Coriander Leaves
- Ginger
- Salt

Steps 

- Mix together yoghurt, coriander leaves, ginger, green chillies, rice and salt
- Heat oil and add the mustard seeds
- When they start crackling, add the dals and saute it until golden
- Add curry leaves, red chilies and asafoetida 
- Pour tempering on the rice and serve cold

MAGGI 




Undoubtedly, Maggi is one of the most easiest and best cures for hangover. It is easily available and does not take much preparation time.

Ingredients Used

- A packet of Maggi Noodles
- Half tablespoon pepper powder
- Salt

Steps 

- Boil down the required amount of maggi by adding a pinch of salt and masala
- When the water starts to boil, add down the maggi noodles and pepper powder.
- Add cheese or butter to it if you wish to add a layered taste
- Serve hot
